A classroom in session

Spaces built for real learning.

Bright classrooms, working laboratories, a computer room, a library and a seminar hall — everything a curious student needs, kept simple and well used.

Academics

An unhurried day, full of things to do

We follow the West Bengal state curriculum alongside enrichment in art, music, regional literature and computing — taught in English and Bengali by teachers who know every child by name.

Classrooms

Where the day begins

Our classrooms are bright, airy and never overcrowded. Children read aloud, work problems on the blackboard, and learn to listen to one another. Small classes mean every voice is heard and no one slips to the back of the room.

  • Well-lit rooms with cross-ventilation
  • Activity corners for younger grades
  • Continuous, supportive assessment

Learning by doing

Physics, chemistry and biology come alive at the lab bench. Senior students run their own experiments under close supervision, writing up what they observe rather than only what the textbook predicts. Curiosity is encouraged; mistakes are part of the method.

  • Equipped physics, chemistry & biology benches
  • Hands-on practicals from the middle grades
  • Safety-first supervision at all times

Comfortable with computing

Every student spends time in the computer room, learning the basics of typing, the internet and creative software. For children from the surrounding villages, these are the skills that open doors — and we make sure no one leaves us unfamiliar with a keyboard.

  • Networked desktop workstations
  • Foundational computing for every grade
  • Projects in design, typing & research

Library

A quiet room full of doors

Our library holds storybooks, reference texts and regional literature in both English and Bengali. It is a calm place to read, to research a project, or simply to discover a book that no one assigned. Reading for pleasure is treated as seriously as reading for marks.

  • Fiction, reference & bilingual collections
  • Quiet reading and study space
  • Class library periods every week

Where the school comes together

The seminar hall hosts felicitation ceremonies, guest talks, debates and orientation days. It is where students learn to stand up and speak, to welcome a visitor, and to celebrate one another’s successes in front of the whole school.

  • Stage, sound and seating for events
  • Guest lectures and felicitation ceremonies
  • Debates, recitals and prize-givings

Hands-on learning

Some lessons can’t be taught from a desk

Workshops, demonstrations and project work let students build, test and present with their own hands.
